Remember going to the penny candy lady? Wine candies, Now and Laters (that never made it to later), bubble gum, chews, Sugar Daddy's and pickles with a peppermint stick in the middle!

Its a mix, some hardwood in the living room and one bedroom, vinyl in the kitchen, stone tile in the bathroom, bad tile in the basement that needs to be replaced and carpeting in two bedrooms

What an question! Yes, YES, YES! My sister was adopted into a new family at birth and I gave my first born up for adoption at birth....so my entire family has been touched by adoption.

I saw these in Walgreens on Tuesday when I went to get my prescription filled. They made me feel like a litttle kid allll over again.

You know that feeling, right? When you just had to touch them. They were all soft and squishy. It took a heap of self-control not to buy even one. I bet people were looking at me all strange...lol

I figured out how to post directly from Flickr to my blog...yay! I also know how to post a picture and a blog post directly from my phone too! Yay me!

Now if anybody knows how to make MyBlogLog verify a vox blog, I'd be grateful...lol

I know that this has been passed around the net a lot...but its so pretty....

Before I was a Mom:

I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom:

I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom:
I never held down a screaming child so doc tors could do tests. Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late h ours a t night watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom:

I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom:
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her ch ild.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom:

I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every
10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.

Here goes nothing:

I cannot sleep with my bedroom door open, if it gets left open I will wake up and close it...regardless of what time it is
I have a phobia about about animals getting sick...I freak myself out and will not ride when my dog is in the car because he MIGHT get motion sickness....same thing about people, if I think someone may be sick to the stomach...I work myself up to the point that I have to get away from them or I will get sick
I hate clothes...I get undressed as soon as I walk in the house...if nobody is home, I don't put anything on unless I need to cook, then I only put on a xtra big tee shirt....my son hates it....he always tells me to put some clothes on
I obsessed over doing this tag...I woke up and can't go back to sleep until its done...when I get something in my head I must get it done or I can't focus on anything else
I can't sleep in complete silence if I am alone...I must have a radio or tv on
I can't ride the bus without my headphones or a book....

Honestly, I don't like to tag anyone...so the buck stops here...
